Triple shooting in Independence under investigation with 1 dead, 2 injured
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - A triple shooting in Independence is under investigation as a homicide, according to police.
It happened in the 1500 block of South Brookside Avenue late Thursday night.
Police said three victims were located at a home. One of the victims was declared dead at the scene. Two others were transported to area hospitals.
IPD said one of the injured victims suffered life-threatening injuries. Another victim is in stable condition.
Police said they will not be releasing the ages and genders of the victim as of Friday afternoon. The triple shooting remains an ongoing investigation, police said.
No suspect information is currently available.
